We provide batteries to congregations at no cost.
Funding comes from non-profit financial institutions, individuals, and banks or foundations who share our values.
We’re building a network of pre-vetted installers to deploy our replicable model, making the design, permitting, and installation process smooth for congregations.
We schedule the battery’s usage to maximize benefits to the congregation and the grid.
Congregations start saving on their electricity bill from day one. We take a share of the savings to repay our funders and to cover our expenses.

At the moment, our initial focus is on medium and large houses of worship that:

Have a large spike in electricity use 1-2x each week
Are within California’s PG&E and SCE service territory
Use commercial electricity rates for mid-sized and large buildings. Within PG&E, this is B-10 or B-19S. For SCE, it is GS-2.
